Born in Muslim-majority countries — Europe

Foreign-born stock from Muslim-majority origins, 1990–2024

UN DESA International Migrant Stock: people living in each European country who were born in a Muslim-majority country. This is not a religion census — European-born children of those communities are not counted, and some origin countries are religiously mixed (e.g. many Germany-bound people born in Kazakhstan are ethnic Germans). Turkey, Albania and Kosovo are treated as origins, not as destinations in this race. Early-1990s Ukraine ranks high because of people born in Central Asian Soviet republics.
